DesignFiles is currently searching for a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to contribute to their product development efforts. This contract role requires individuals who can commit to working a minimum of 40 hours per week and are willing to become key members of the engineering team.

• Writing, reviewing, and improving Ruby and JavaScript code in a Unix environment.

• Enhancing DesignFiles' engineering culture by implementing best practices, maintaining code quality, and participating in code reviews.
• Actively contributing ideas and solutions to improve the experience for designers and their clients.
• Participating in Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and regular one-on-one meetings.

• Proficiency in modern JavaScript/CSS tools and frameworks, including Webpack, Gulp, eslint, prettier, and BEM.
• Solid knowledge of Unix shell, PostgreSQL, Docker, Node.js, and AWS S3.
• Excellent command of the English language, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work during agreed-upon work hours.
• Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for testing own code, consider edge cases, and work productively without constant supervision.
